Gratitude Journal: Day 5
November 7, 2020

I’ve adopted a daily gratitude practice. Every morning for the rest of November, I start the day by writing 10 things I’m thankful for. Then, to keep myself accountable, I’ll share my list on this website, Instagram, and Facebook.

1️⃣ I am infinitely grateful that Joe Biden was just declared our new president because our country and the world deserves something better.

2️⃣ I am truly blessed to have my mother’s sense of humor because it feels good to laugh with my mom!

This Far Side comic is a family favorite and still referenced to this day.

3️⃣ I am truly blessed to have my life because it allows all else to be possible.

4️⃣ I am truly blessed to have Goodman Creatives because it allows me to choose my own path when it comes to financial freedom.

5️⃣ I am truly blessed to have come from my parents because they both taught me so much as a child.

6️⃣ I am truly blessed to have my home because it’s an amazing oasis in the mountains full of life, nature, love, joy, opportunities for growth, and fun projects to work on.

7️⃣ I am truly blessed to have my dSLR camera because it helps me to create the creative images I see in my mind’s eye.

8️⃣ I am truly blessed to have Carrie in my life because she is such an inspiration and a joy to be around. I love her smile, her laugh, her heart, and her entire existence.

9️⃣ I am truly blessed to have my body because it allows me to live my life the way I choose.

🔟 I am truly blessed to put healthy food on my kid’s plates each day because even if they don’t touch it, at least I tried 🤣

ABOUT MY GRATITUDE PRACTICE

The practice is a part of Rhonda Byrne’s “The Magic,” which I am working through with my wife, Carrie.
