How is it 2014 already?!
I’m not entirely sure; but, it’s going to be an incredible year.
For me and Carrie, 2014 is starting with a visit home to New York City
Then, we have a one-way ticket to South America (Peru, to start) on January 14.
But first… light painting!
The process is simple:
- Find a dark place.
- Set your camera to take a long exposure (15-30 seconds should suffice).
- Use a flashlight (or glowstick, laser, lighter, etc) to draw shapes or words in the air.
- When finished, the camera produces one single image; which includes all of your motions.
In case you wondered, the “2014 photo” was created using these settings:
{ Nikon D800 } – { 18mm ) – { 15 second exposure } – { f/22 } – { ISO 100 }
Such Amazing Friends
Before leaving Chiang Mai, Thailand, my wife and I invited a few dear friends over to celebrate the holidays.
We celebrated by turning off the lights in our apartment and tracing the names of each of our Web sites.
So, if you’re looking for a daily dose of inspiration, be sure to visit…
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
