Here’s a video overview of my proven 3-step formula for reaching a wider audience with your photos on social media.

Your photos are incredible.

I’m saying that with 100% certainty … even though we don’t know each other yet.

Every photo you create shares your unique vision of our beautiful world.

✔️ Precious moments in time.

✔️ Magical memories.

✔️ Epic experiences.

✔️ A life well-lived.

If you’re like me, you love sharing your photos with friends, family, followers, and everyone in between.

And … you probably want more people to actually see them.

We all do.

It’s a part of what makes creative people like you and me tick.

When you dedicate so much time and energy to your photos, it’s only natural to want as many people as possible to enjoy them.

This is true whether your photographic passion is a hobby, a budding side-gig, or a full-time career.

But how …?

How do you get more people to see your photography?

Simply posting a spectacular photo on social media is not enough to stand out in the crowd anymore.

With the ubiquitousness of digital cameras in our pockets, more people than ever are creating breathtaking photos and posting them instantaneously. This means Facebook and Instagram are flooded with gallery-quality images at every swipe.

When people scroll, they may stop for a second to admire your photo.

If you’re lucky, they click like. 👍

Sometimes, they even leave a comment. But mostly, people just keep … on … scrolling. Even if you use an Instagram post maker.

That’s not what you want!

You want people to stop and appreciate your beautiful photography. To feel the same sense of awe, joy, wonder, bliss, and creativity that you felt while making and preparing the image. You want then to share photos with clients.

Here’s my 3-step formula for sharing your photos with more people on social media.

  1. Tell the stories behind your photos — No one else does and it will instantly make you stand out in the crowd. We’ll get to why a bit farther down in this article.
  2. Be vulnerable in your writing — Pretend like you’re sharing with friends, family, and loved ones. When you come from that heart space, your posts instantly become more approachable.
  3. Share your content across multiple social media networks — but not at the same time. Otherwise, people get confused and don’t click “like” twice. That tells the algorithm to stop showing people your content.

How to get more people to see your photos on social media

STORYTELLING is the secret sauce to getting more engagement on your social media photos and posts.

Ever hear the expression, “a photo is worth 1,000 words?”
It’s true, and …. zzzzz …. sorry, I fell asleep there.
 Cliches do that to me.

Even if a photo tells a million metaphoric words, that’s just part of the story.
Yes. Photography can be magical, powerful, inspirational, and captivating. A single image can transport you to another world. Yet, photos are just a part of the picture.

Magic happens when you tell the story behind your images.

Stories can stimulate your senses.
They dance in your imagination and conduct a symphony of the mind.
But why are these two complementary art forms siloed?

… Each
… One
… Standing
… Alone.

Who says it has to be one or the other?

Photographic Storytelling fuses photos and stories to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

It’s a multimedia mashup of whimsical wordplay and inspirational imagery.

It brings friends, family, and followers along on an armchair adventure of your life and creates connection in a disconnected world.

First, hook them with your beautiful photography. Then, reel them in with a delicate dance of whimsical wordplay.

Start with a captivating first line.

Ask questions.

Take them on a journey.

Include emotions … being vulnerable makes your stories valuable (and memorable).

Above all else, you want people to get to know you.

There’s an old marketing saying …

You want people to know, like, and trust you.

Soulful storytelling is the key to building a relationship with people online.

This is true whether the reader is your friend, family, or follower.

Over time, people will look forward to your posts.

Simply seeing your name pop up will be enough to inspire someone to stop scrolling, appreciate your photo, and read what you have to say.

That’s the key to bringing people along on your life’s journey.

That’s how you sell more prints and get yourself “out there.”

That’s what you’re going to learn how to do in my online course …
