Gratitude Journal: Day 1
November 3, 2020

I’ve adopted a daily gratitude practice. For the next 28 days, I will start my day by writing 10 things I’m thankful for and share it on this website and social media.

❶ I am truly blessed to live so close to Henry Cowell State Park because I love redwoods, nature, and train rides!

❷ I am truly blessed to have reliable people to call when something breaks in our house – a network of people who can take care of everything because I would rather have an expert take care of something.

❸ I am truly blessed to have the Satellite Felton coworking space because I need somewhere that I can get shit done.

❹ I’m truly blessed to live and work so close to Wild Roots Market because I deserve the best local, organic food to nourish my body, mind, and soul.

❺ I am truly blessed for knowing how to choose the best apples (red ones with deep, lush pink hues – not the that are just dark red) because I appreciate the sweet, juicy crunch of a good apple.

❻ I am truly blessed to live in a world where my business (Goodman Creatives) can continue to operate during a pandemic because I love the work I do.

❼ I am truly blessed to live in a bubble where Donald Trump’s antics don’t directly affect me because I need to protect my mental health from a stressful news addiction.

❽ I am truly blessed to work for

Well Clinic because it gives my life a sense of purpose, stability, and direction.

❾ I am truly blessed to have such a spirited, unstoppable child in Bodhi because he gives me endless opportunities for reflection and self-growth.

❶⓿ I am truly blessed that Wild Roots has these amazing, soft, doughy, salty pretzels because they tastes so good as I write today’s gratitude.

ABOUT MY PRACTICE

The practice is a part of Rhonda Byrne’s “The Magic,” which I am reading with my wife, Carrie.
