Photo of the Day
Himalayan View
Naddi, McLeod Ganj, India
{ Nikon D7000 } – { 50 mm } – { f/11 } – { 1/500s exposure } – { ISO 250 }
Naddi is a small community nestled beneath the Himalayan foothills.
From there, visitors are treated to sweeping vistas of the snow-capped peaks.
The above photo was taken from the window of a moving bus, heading back down from Naddi to McLeod Ganj and Bhagsu, where I currently am living.
. . .
The below photo was taken after the dark and stormy skies opened up to shed one single ray of light on the Himalaya peaks in front of me. Then, I took it into Photoshop and had some fun!

. . .
Right now, Carrie and my “plan,” not that there ever is a real plan, is to spend another week or so in Bhagsu, then another week or so in India, then head to Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. Stay tuned to see if it actually happens…
