Turkey is a Muslim majority country but has democratic, secular constitution.  The official language of Turkey is Turkish, although Kurdish and Zazaki languages are also spoken among their respected populations, which constitute 18% of the entire population.

Today, there is clear separation of state from religion in this secular country. Huge investment in museums, opera houses, architecture and theaters enhanced artistic expression of this country and made modern Turkey a blend of traditional, religious and historic values blended with Western culture incorporated under state’s watchful eye.

Automobile is the safest way of traveling in Turkey, though it helps to follow a few tips.
