California exists in two colors. Brown and green. During the summer, it's all brown. The grass, the hills, all of it. But, when the rains come between October and March, the entire landscape is full of lush greenery, glistening leaves, and amazing photo opportunities. There is still brown, of course, but for these glorious months, the brown is limited to the trunks and branches of the magestic trees that surround us.

It was a dark and stormy morning for me emotionally. ⛈️ So, I am posting a bright and sunny photo today in an effort to consciously create the reality I live in. I hope you're having an amazing day. And, if you're not, that's OK too. 🙏❤️🌈

I made so many photos during my 90 minute walk that I ran out of batteries in my phone. That's a first! Here is another angle of the majestic redwoods covered in snow at Calaveras Big Trees State Park in Arnold, California.Lots more editing, pruning, and curating to go. So exciting to have so many photos I am in love with ❤️

A quick favorite photo from my afternoon adventure to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park. I went by myself and wore my snowsuit, so I had ample time and opportunities to lay on the ground and photograph these colossal redwood giants
