Gratitude Journal: Day 25
November 27, 2020

1️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for Bodhi and Ky spending hours hanging out with each other on opposite sides of the fence today because that gave me the time I needed to have some special time with Luna in the backyard while letting Carrie get ready for SOAR.

2️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for a morning with Luna because we had a chance to connect, explore, play, and do a “world tour” of all the fun backyard spots because we don’t often get that much time to ourselves.

3️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for being a witness on Luna’s journey learning how to talk because as she starts to learn more words and expresses herself, it helps bring awareness to all the smallest little parts of life which she is articulating. Plus, today she was able to perfectly describe how exactly she got an ouch.

4️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for witnessing the annual cycle of the seasons on our land because it really makes me feel connected to our earth.

5️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for Sarah Leingang because even though we haven’t talked in decades, I have more happy childhood memories with her in them than any other person I was a little kid with.

6️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for Bobby FitzPatrick because when I hang out with him today (not that we hang out very often) I always have the same warm, fun, goofy feeling that I remember from riding the school bus together.

7️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for Danny Chazin because he was the closest thing to a brother that I had as a little kid.

8️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for the entire Walstrand-Infeld clan because It’s such a gift to live next-door to people you actually want to hang out with.

9️⃣ I am really grateful for all the random little surprises and funny things that kids leave around the house because they always make me chuckle.

🔟 I’ve been really grateful that SOAR is here because there’s been so much anticipation and now it’s time to rock ‘n’ roll.
