Gratitude Journal: Day 9
11/11 Edition
1️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for the universe’s constant reminders that I should trust and keep going down the path I’m going down because I’ll never get there if I keep turning around.
2️⃣ I am infinitely grateful to start my day by dropping off Bodhi and his friends at Forest school then taking myself for a walk and Henry Cowell State Park because I value connection both with others and with myself.
3️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for the teachings of nonviolent communication (NVC) because it gives me and Carrie a common language to work through our conflicts.
4️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for my north face jacket which I’ve had for 14 years because it continues to be awesome and I have great memories of buying it at Woodbury Common outlets with Lindsay Cohen Pearlman.
5️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for Affordable Plumbing in Santa Cruz who removed and replaced our hot water heater because my family deserves a home with hot water.
6️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for Bodhi’s refusal to go to Forest School this morning because it gave me so many opportunities to take a deep breath and react from a heart space instead of a “you must do this because I said so” space.
7️⃣ I’m infinitely grateful that Bodhi and Luna have a grandpa that lives so close because Grandpa Bill has is such an important part of their lives!
8️⃣ I’m infinitely grateful that Grandma Bonnie sends Bodhi mail every few weeks because Bodhi lights up every time he opens a card.
9️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for all the ways one can prepare coffee because I thoroughly enjoy the experience of trying different pouring techniques.
🔟 I am infinitely grateful for a lifetime of being an entrepreneur because my desire to be a businessman has fueled so much of my life‘s adventures.
