Gratitude Journal: Day 20
November 22, 2020

Whew – just making it in at the wire. Technically it’s tomorrow (12:34am) – but I haven’t gone to bed yet so Day 20, here we go ….

1️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for my little league career because my success there gave me an incredible amount of confidence in my own abilities.

2️⃣ I am absolutely grateful to Carrie for all the support she gave me this morning because I was having a rough morning and I appreciated all the times she offered support

3️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for “Weird Al” Yankovic because his songs are a staple of my childhood and they helped get me through this morning.

4️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for the Henry Cowell Club at Wild Roots because it can serve as two meals and is ridiculously delicious.

5️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for our private train car today on roaring Camp railroads because we had a group of 20 and it gave each family enough space to spread out and be free.

6️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for the wonder of a young child because seeing life through their eyes is a daily reminder to appreciate the smallest things and not to take life for granted.

7️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for Bodhi’s relationship with our chickens because his love has actually helped some of them heal.

8️⃣ I am infinitely grateful for all the people doing what they can to help prevent the spread of COVID because regardless of what the “truth” is, people are dying and we’re all ready for it to be over.

9️⃣ I am infinitely grateful to live in Santa Cruz, CA, because it’s an amazing oasis nestled between towering redwood forests and surfer’s paradise beaches.

🔟 I am infinitely grateful to all the people who make blog posts or videos on how to do absolutely everything because all that knowledge “at my fingertips” has to come from somewhere!

I once taught photoshop to Burmese refugees with the Burma Rights Network in Chiang Mai. Thailand
